Created attachment 128029 [details] the file in question, containing a list of dutch verbs Version: 5.0.4.2 Build: 2b9802c1994aa0b7dc6079e128979269cf95bc78 locale: german de-DE Description: Unchecking the box "start every sentence with a uppercase letter" has no effect. Ctrl-Z does not negate the effect of the autocorrect process.
Any better with last stable LO version 5.2.2? Indeed, 5.0 branch is EOL.
I removed Version 5.0.4.2 and installed Version 5.2.2, removed the Files in User\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice. Same as before, in the calc file and also in the table copied from the calc file to a .odt . Weird thing is though, the first one to two attempts on the fresh install did work, and then it broke.
So... now it appears to work, on a new file at least. I did not try this before, sorry for the clutter... Why do the old files still show this behaviour though?
I'll try to find some time to give a try to your file. Meanwhile, I don't have more questions, so let's put this back to UNCONFIRMED.
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, if I open your file, without changing any option, then type "this is a sentence.", the first "t" isn't put in uppercase. I must have missed something. I don't think I can't help here sorry. Certainly may help.
I opened the file, went to Tools - autocorrect options - options and unchecked Capitalize first letter of every sentence. Now I can write sentences without autocapitalization. Maybe I will try on Windows before closing this as worksforme.
