Description jebsolutions 2016-10-21 20:54:34 UTC
Steps to duplicate:
Create a new Impress presentation

Click where it says "click to add title" and enter a title for the slide. I put "Title" for the title.

Change the background color for the entire slide. I clicked on the slide background. Then clicked on the Properties (wrench icon) on the right. I set Background to Color and changed the color to Tango: Sky Blue 1.

Press control-Z to undo.

Expected behavior: blue background color is undone.

Actual behavior: Slide background stays blue and slide title reverts back to "Click to add Title". You can't undo a slide background color change.

Tested versions:
Libreoffice 4.4.2.2 Windows 10: Works fine
Libreoffice 5.2.2.2 Lubuntu 16.04: Doesn't work
Libreoffice 5.3.0 Alpha 1 Windows 10/Lubuntu 16.04: Doesn't work

Can confirm this for

Version: 5.2.2.2
Build-ID: 8f96e87c890bf8fa77463cd4b640a2312823f3ad
CPU-Threads: 8; BS-Version: Windows 6.1; UI-Render: Standard;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE);

All other actions from the side panel could be changed back with "undo" and
"redo" (see arrows in the menu bar or shortcuts Crtl-z/Ctrl-y), only Background changing action couldn't.

The detailed Properties sidebar deck is new in 5.2 as far as I can see, not sure how it could've worked in an older version.

What I could see is that setting background color using Slide -> Slide Properties... (or Format -> Page... in some earlier versions) adds correct undo step.
