I just found out for the current version of Adobe Reader ("Acrobat Reader" in former times) that it positions a hyperlink being followed to the to of the window. If you export a Writer document containing a table of figures to PDF, the following effect appears (assuming you have your caption below the figure): The hyperlink points to the caption of the figure (that is below the figure). That is, if you click in the table of figures to see a specific figure, you just see the capture below, because the figure is "over the top" of the reader window. So most likely the hyperlink's target should be the TOP, not the BOTTOM of the image. BTW: Writer itself also positions the link target to the top of the window, so you have the same effect even without PDF export.
Hello Ulrich, Could you please attach a document to reproduce the described problem? Change the status back to UNCONFIRMED once the document is attached. Regards
Created attachment 128320 [details] Sample document (ODT) Just click on the first figure in the table of figures.
Created attachment 128321 [details] PDF created from sample document (attachment 128320 [details]) Instructions are the same as for attachment 128320 [details]. I also see that evince (PDF viewer in Linux/GNOME) behaves just as Adobe's viewer does.
What happens for me is that the view jumps a bit in the first page. I am not taken to the image, not in the ODT and not in my own exported PDF (SumatraPDF viewer). Let's set to NEW. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. I can not reproduce the issue, that the reporter described. But I can reproduce the issue, that Buovjaga described. "What happens for me is that the view jumps a bit in the first page.
