Whenever the table runs across more than one page, part of it disappears, but if selected it seems to have relocated over the section as shown in the screenshot.

I repro the relocating jump. In 3.3 it is broken in a different way and does not jump. Salamu alaikum, As a work around, you can use the navigator, 1-Select the concerned section, 2- Delete the section, 3- Undelete the section, Now you can displcay your pdf correctly, or export it as a PDF. But each time you reopen your file you have to execute the same steps on each two columned section of you document, which is for sure counter-productive at this stage; I really hope that developers will take into consideration this work around and make us happy users. :)

If I understand correctly (I don't remember how I tested in 2016), it seems to be ok in the current stable version. I tested with 6.4 and there the file opens with 4 pages and the table looking unbalanced, but not in 24.8. Could you try with an appimage and see how it goes: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/appimage/ ?
