Description Felix 2016-11-07 15:28:55 UTC
Description:
Any 5 digit Unicode character seems to disappear during PDF export. LibreOffice however displays the characters correctly.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select Symbola font
2. insert special characters 0xFFFD and 0x10102
3. both characters display correctly (white '?' on black rhomb follow by black cross
4. export to PDF document

Actual Results:
The PDF document shows a white '?' on black rhomb followed by two squares containing a question mark (placeholder for 'unknown' character I guess).

Expected Results:
Both characters should display correctly in the generated PDF file, like they display in LibreOffice.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The problem also exists with LibreOffice version 5.3.0.0.alpha1.
However LibreOffice 5.1.4.2 on LINUX (Kubuntu 16.04) behaves correctly.
