Description: LO version 5.1.4.2 distributed by Ubuntu 16.04. When one compare documents by Edit -> Track Changes -> Compare Document, and when Options -> Writer -> Comparison is set to "by word", the text marked as a change is sometimes the whole paragraph even if only few words were changed. The same behavior was reproduced in independent LO 5.2.3.3 Actual Results: long marked paragraphs Expected Results: changes are marked word by word Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0
Please attach two documents ("source" & "edited") that show this behavior. I tried, but could not reproduce it. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the documents. Hello Sorry for the trouble I could not reproduce this problem. LO seems to function well in comparing documents. Maybe it was some problem with shifting back and forth from doc to odt. I there any way to delete the file i have loaded?
