There is lots of lag in the UI when resizing a window on the mac. This happens in OpenOffice to some extent as well, but its not nearly as bad.

Please provide more detail as to reproducible circumstances and operations you  are carrying out when the problem occurs, otherwise we have no way of second guessing what and in which circumstances the problem occurs.
