Description Ken Chappell 2016-12-19 23:45:01 UTC
Description:
In Windows 10, if I navigate to "Settings\System\Default apps" and click to choose a default Photo app, a dialog pops up with a couple of choices. LO Draw is one of the options, but it shows up unlabeled (meaning, just the icon shows up). This isn't a big deal but it looks sloppy. Fixing it would be nice.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Libreoffice
2. Try to pick a default Photo app
3. LO Draw pops up unlabeled

Actual Results:
As mentioned above, LO Draw pops up unlabeled.

Expected Results:
LO Draw would pop up as a labeled option.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Confirmed on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (1607) en-US with
Version: 5.2.4.2 (x64)
Build ID: 3d5603e1122f0f102b62521720ab13a38a4e0eb0
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Windows 6.19; UI Render: GL;
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group

Windows 10

Action Center -> All Settings -> System -> Default Apps: Photo Viewer

The LibreOffice Draw module is listed as an available app, but has no label just the correct Draw ODF icon.

IIUC this is another obscure registry setting now needed by Microsoft Windows 10 OS that has to be included in our MSI packaging.

This is fixed in LO 5.3.0.1, which is currently in testing.
