Hi,

I can't change the text language when all of the document content is selected. The document content includes many tables, diagrams, frames and lists.

Aha, so no need to select the entire text.
I was used to selecting the entire content of the document and upon selecting it all I was trying to change the language, but the language options were greyed out.
I somehow missed the "For all text" option.
My apologies.
