Does Impress support any vertical text at all?
(In reply to Khaled Hosny from comment #2) > Does Impress support any vertical text at all? Yes, but is very limited. Currently only text box is allowed to use that, and only right-to-left (vertical) direction is available. I have inserted Text direction from left to right and Text direction from top to bottom buttons into toolbar, then these buttons work for me with text box, when I use them for table, the cursor is move out. Additionaly, there is no entry of using these directions at page level.

This can be done via coping related codes from Writer, but we need to break through some technical limits as bug 103720 pointed out.
Repro, there are still only two directions of the text possible, RTL and LTR. Currently, Impress seems to not support vertical text: Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bfbae5ddd52cf80af94b250b9de349f0340dbe34 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22621; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded
