Description superurbi 2016-12-23 11:30:28 UTC
New Freeze First Row/Column works erratically:

I create a new document in Calc then click "View ▸ Freeze Cells" but nothing happens. The selected cell is A1.

LO v5.2.4.2 (x64) on Windows 7 SP1 PRO x64.

Thanks!

In Ubuntu 16.10 with LibreOffice 5.2.2.2 the behaviour is the same. You need to select a cell different of A1 for it to do something.

Hi superurbi,

Minimal adresses to freeze something should be: A2, B1 or B2.
Take up usage you had before this change:

The cell to select is one column and/or one row after the colum(s) and/or the row(s) to freeze.
To freeze 2 rows and 3 colums, select D3 and Freeze Rows and Colums.
