Description: (possibly won't be of a high priority and may or may not be connected with this one, but not sure myself: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93123) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new file 2. In cell A5 start typing '123'. Not leaving the editing mode 3. With mouse click and drag the horizontal split line (making top-bottom separation) down to around row 3 (somewhere mid way between the top and cell being edited) 4. notice vertical position of cell being edited 5. Hit keys '456' (as if to continue typing within the active cell) 6. Hit Enter (here everything is seen in proper places - no problems from here) Actual Results: step 4: The vertical position of the cell being edited (text & blinking cursor) is not matching row 5 - it's lower step 5: as soon as a new character is typed in - all text (123 and 4[56]) disappears, only blinking cursor is visible. Expected Results: step 4: The vertical position of the cell being edited (text & blinking cursor) to match row 5 (if it's visible in the newly formed lower split view). step 5: text not disappearing Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Other tests can be done here, such as: editing a cell in one of the lower rows, dragging the split line and not seeing the active cell anywhere at all.. (In reply to oris1024 from comment #0) > 3. With mouse click and drag the horizontal split line (making top-bottom > separation) down to around row 3 (somewhere mid way between the top and cell > being edited) I don't understand what this means. Please explain it better or attach a screenshot. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.
