What is the object area box? I tried just clicking the text box and it pastes fine in there. Created attachment 130177 [details] Screencast "Insert -> Image" insert the text into the text box/ frame. The same can't be done using copy/paste. This working in PowerPoint (only with an empty text box). But it's probably a matter of taste I suppose.
