Using, in Calc, in the Toolbar there is now a dropdown to enable selection of the type of underline.

If left at single underline, no problem, but if double underline is selected then the program freezes.

I seems this does not happen with a small file, but does happen with a spreadsheet of some size.

If alternatively Format Cells is chosen, Font Effects tab, then Underlining, there is no problem.

Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.
Usually it's enough renaming/deleting the file "user/registrymodifications.xcu",  it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files "user/basic/dialog.xlc" and "scrip.xlc" are overwritten, additionally custom colors in "user/config/standard.soc" are lost.

Can you attach a file that shows the issue.
