Description: In an odt window, when a loaded file is modified you can see a change for the save icon in the toolbar : a star or a dot, depending on your icon set. If this file has a stored macro, when you edit the macro and modify it, the save icon changes (with a star or a dot) in the toolbar of the odt window but not in the toolbar of the Basic IDE window. So when working at a macro in the IDE you never know if your modifications have been saved or not. The problem did not exist in the version 4.4.5.2. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a writer document with a macro stored inside 2.Tools>Macros>Macro Organizer> select the macro stored in the writer document then Edit 3.Modify the macro Actual Results: The save icon in the IDE toolbar stays unchanged. The save icon in the odt window toolbar changes (with a star or a dot) Expected Results: The save icon (in the IDE) should change to indicate that this file has been modified and could be saved. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Ubuntu v14.04 LTS + document foundation (non-ubuntu) version 5.1.6.2 of LO User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0
Hi, The 5.1 branch is already EOL, so please test with one of the current versions (5.2.4, 5.3 beta). At least for me the save button is disabled there, where there is nothing to save.
Hi, I've just installed the english Version: 5.2.4.2 Build ID: 3d5603e1122f0f102b62521720ab13a38a4e0eb0 (it's strange to learn that a stable version is EOL...) with a new profile. The problem is still there.
Oh, I'm sorry. No more problem with the version 5.2.4.2, with the new profile or with my old profile. It was a problem with the so-called "stable" 5.1.6.2 version.
