Description DMS 2017-01-09 17:46:11 UTC
Description:
The short cut command-shift-4 doesn’t appear to work in my installation. Similar shortcuts like command-shift-5 or command-shift-2 work, they change to format to percentage and scientific, but command-shift-4 changes nothing, instead the cursor turns into cross hairs with pixel-counters next to them.

@DMS : that is because Cmd-Shift-4 is an OSX system keyboard shortcut for taking screenshots by selecting an area/window with the mouse, hence the crosshairs.

Maybe I should have noticed by myself. Command-shift-3 is the simple screen shot and doesn’t work neither. I found that 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 0 (zero) are no system keyboard shortcuts, (command-shift-7 opens menu bar for navigation with arrow keys), so there would be just enough possible shortcuts for the seven formats?
