Hi, I have created three documents for each of the test one document. I think it may even be two separate problems in this pivot table - one for test 1 and another for test 2. By the way there is little mistake in Description of bug in step 19. Correct description is: "Open in step 17 saved document." Regards
I was trying to recreate a problem on master on Windows 7, but master crashes. I have reported new bug 105273 for crash. I was trying to recreate a problem on LO 5.2.4.2 on Ubuntu 16.04, but there is no Data | Pivot Table | Pivot Table option available. I have reported a new bug 105275.
(In reply to grofaty from comment #2) > Created attachment 130335 [details] > Sample_steps_from_1-12 Repro the losing of the pivot after save to ods + save to xlsx. If you happen to click the Name filter once after saving to ods and reloading, then the xlsx will be fine (even though your Size filter is lost). Clicking the Name filter restores the missing dropdown triangle. In 3.6, this triangle is not lost, but the pivot table data is still lost after saving to xlsx. I have retested on LibreOffice 6.0.0.3 on Windows 7 and Test 1: Fixed! Excellent. Thanks a lot. Test 2: Still working _fine_. Test 3: Problem persists. Just to complete the test I have downloaded nightly version on Windows 7 and retested. Result is exactly the same as in v6.0.0.3 above. I have retested this problem, because Microsoft Office user gets broken document. From my first post: Test1: Works fine. Test2: Works fine. Test3: Problem still persists. In Excel file pivot table is lost. Hi, I retested the problem on master and the "Test 3" is still not fully fixed. The "blue color and dot" are still not displayed after opening 2003 document. I have attached 2003_document_filter_dialog_no_blue_color.png in previous post. It is a picture to fully explain the problem. I also see this bug report is not exact duplicate of bug 121612. Duplicate is only Test-1, but Test-3 is not in the "duplicate bug" report. Please unmark the duplication. Just to be clear: you retested from step 1 and did not use the existing attachments? If yes, I may have to test on Windows to see, if it differs from Linux. But really, now we are talking about a different bug, which should go into a new report (if it is real).
Buovjaga, I have manually followed from steps. I haven't used documents. OK, I agree this should probably be a new bug report. I will try to find simpler steps to reproduce and report separate bug. I am marking bug status back to previous state. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 121612 ***
