Description Aprax 2017-01-14 04:37:04 UTC
I'd like to create my own set of Styles and then be able to select them in ANY sheet.

The LO Help was no help at all trying to find a way to do this.

Currently I have to create them in every sheet that contains Conditional Formatting, over and over and over again.

There has to be a file somewhere containing the Global styles:
Heading1, heading2, result1 and result2,
they can't be just in program code (but if they are, the programmer should be shot!) :) .

You can set up your own default template for calc.

I did create a template but found out that "Copying styles from a document or template" is only available in Writer, it's not available in Calc.

So my request is to have the capability in Calc that's already available in Writer. I didn't say this was a bug although someone has set the Status to "Resolved Not a bug" but I don't consider this Resolved.

I did see that "You cannot remove (delete) any of LibreOffice’s predefined styles from a document or template, even if they are not in use." so these must be completely separate from the Custom styles.

Obviously 'Default' can not be deleted but can be modified, the others can be hidden.

You must create your new hierarchize of styles with 'Default' as root.

To copy one style between spreadsheets copy a cell or cell's format from one to another.
