Looks like a dupe of bug 90763, but this one has proper steps to reproduce
Reproduced with 5.2.4.2 on Ubuntu. The text added to the comment is lost if you save it while the cursor is still in the comment. If you click into the document text area after pressing Ctrl-S in the comment, the modified state of the document changes to modified - without even pressing a key! Then you can save the document again and then the changes to the comment are saved and can be loaded. Also this does not happen when using ODT or DOC format. Saving comment changes while the cursor is still in the comment works as expected.
Looks like duplicate of Bug 68604. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 68604 ***
