The nightly TB builds will not write into Windows registry, nor will they install the MSVC++ runtime if needed, so your installation is likely not complete. You can force the full install with command line switches, but it is usually going to work better if you preform a msiexec.exe /a "administrative" install. Please uninstall the current attempt and perform a "parallel" installation as described here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Windows Let us know if installing that way resolves your start up crashes.
