Large data set of over 18000 lines with two charts on second sheet

When using Calc in KUbuntu 64 bit only one processor seems to be used. As a consequence when opening a large data file with chart - see sample provided- the whole thing becomes unusable. Certainly unable to move / change charts once file fully loaded. This is regardless of file extension used. I used OpenOffice in the past under Windows7 and did not experience that problem. Perhaps issue within Kubuntu and processor application /utilization.
PS: This is by no means criticism just rather enquiry about possible improvement.
