Description: Uploaded on 13 Feb 2017 LibreOffice: 5.3.0.3 and 5.2.5.1 as well. Xubuntu 10 (x64) https://youtu.be/-RdEZ3oAJzY Windows 10 (x64) https://youtu.be/ihzEE8txvOw It sometimes breaks the Copy-and-Paste function. And it remains broken until I copy something from the LibreOffice itself. (See the videos above) I have experience this issue since the first stable LibreOffice version. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy something from elsewhere. (Not from LibreOffice) 2. CTRL+SHIFT+V 3. and the "Paste Special" window doesn't open. 4. Copy something from the LibreOffice itself, and it works again. Actual Results: 1. Copy something from elsewhere. (Not from LibreOffice) 2. CTRL+SHIFT+V 3. and the "Paste Special" window doesn't open. 4. Copy something from the LibreOffice itself, and it works again. Expected Results: Works again, until it breaks again. Do you think this is the same as bug 62196 ? You can see all paste bugs collected here: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=102593&hide_resolved=1

As you can see in the videos I showed, I can paste, but I cannot paste as unformatted texr.

Btw. next time you can use this for screen recording instead of your camera: https://obsproject.com/
(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #5) > Btw. next time you can use this for screen recording instead of your camera: > https://obsproject.com/ Well, I have Fraps which doesn't supported any more, I tried RedordMyDesktop which made wrong videos, it means lagging screen and jumping green pixels on it, I also tried the Xsplit which didn't record the screen (black screen), only sound was recorded. And the Xbox application always makes error messages like "There is nothing to record, play more...". I spent hours to Google it and tried to fix them, and I see now I just wasted my time instead of I would have taken a rest, watched TV or played with games, etc. My tables-camera works, so far, therefore I use this, although I know a Desktop Recorder would be much better. But, only the table which works. I can't help it. Sorry. I will try your Studio application, but I bet, it also won't work somehow. Take care. 👋
Same problem here. May be the title of the present bug could be changed to something more explicit like "Paste special function sometimes unavailable when copying from an external application" Version: 5.1.6.2 Build ID: 1:5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial2 Threads CPU : 4; Version de l'OS :Linux 4.4; UI Render : par défaut; Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Calc: group
** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!
