Description: When importing graphics in PDF format, embedded fonts are not recognized. The corresponding characters do not show up at all. PDF viewers like Acrobat Reader don't suffer the same problem. Sample PDF file attached. Steps to Reproduce: In any LibO document type, import a PDF graphic file that contains embedded fonts. Actual Results: see above... characters from embedded fonts are invisible. Expected Results: It would be great if imported PDF graphics could display and print characters from embedded fonts. Created attachment 131490 [details] Sample PDF file for testing In this sample PDF file, all musical symbols use an embedded font. If you open it with PDF viewers like Adobe Reader etc., everything is all right. If you import it as graphic into a LibO Document, those characters don't show up.

There is another facet to this particular bug in that the source PDF looks to contain PS Type 1 fonts output from the LilyPond music scoring program. Suspect that even if extracted these fonts would not render, and would receive fallback. Not clear if the encoding is PUA or Unicode so results may be odd.
