1) Open libreoffice calc from 5-3 branch.
2) Click Tools -> Language -> Hyphenation.
3) Notice the cell formatting dialog opened instead.

Because on the 'Alignment' tab of cell formatting is where the hyphenation option is, you can select it after activate on the properties 'Wrap text automatically'.
This is so from ever.
