Description Gautam Prajapati 2017-03-06 21:04:48 UTC
Document loading in Android viewer takes quite a while. It would be great if we can decrease the loading time.

Right now whole document loads at once. Loading pages one by one instead of the complete document could be a way to go.

That's quite hard to achieve because of how LO works - you need to load the whole document into memory before you can manipulate it.

Also I don't think the problem is loading of the document but with loading of the LO library, which takes some significant time (when loading document the second time or another document, it is much faster for me). What we need to do is to laod the library when the app is starting up or in background when in document browser.

Yes, it does load faster on reopening after first time for the same session of the application.

This is a good suggestion. I will explore the possibilities by which we can achieve this. :-)
