Do not see this as helpful in any appreciable sense. While making labels needlessly long causes grief to the l10n folks that have to try to translate. Leave it alone --> WONTFIX
I would like to hear opinion from members UI-team and people, that often use Calc
Sorry, but "Spread Sheets" are comprised of Rows and Columns of "Cells" -- a Cell is atomic and can not be reduced, but can be removed or added shifting adjacent cells in row or column on a sheet. For the menu label "Sheet" is the most concise notation. Reality is the menu items your analysis highlights as cell and sheet are really ALL dealing with data presented on a sheet (although you categorization is wrong). Again changing the label adds no contextual or functional benefit--but impedes the localization effort by forcing convoluted translations to fit the menu width.
(In reply to kompilainenn from comment #3) > I would like to hear opinion from members UI-team and people, that often use > Calc Would Benjamin really struggle to find cell related functions when the top level is not perfectly clear? Don't think so. It would be the same for "File & Printing" or "Help and About"...
Please no… I don’t want to deal with another “inclusive” menu rename like the one that slapped “Slide/Page” to everything and made translations even longer and more awkward…
