My option button values
Are never backed up with the same
Result, once the file
Is converted from ods to xls.
Look at myvalues stored in the calculation page, [C6: C12]
Once the file is converted to xls
The result has nothing to do with the original file in ods format.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. make an ods file and use controls
2. report values from these controls to a cell
3. save to ods format
3. save again to xls format
I see that certain values are missing in the xls file, and I really don't understand why !
certain values are erased in the xls version

the ots file with controls and values
just try to save the file from ots to xls.
Reopen the file and see the mess !
your selected values has disappeared !
I can't reproduce your issue with:
Version: 18.104.22.168 Build ID: 8a35821d8636a03b8bf4e15b48f59794652c68ba
But this an old version, maybe you can try with a new one.
Or please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.
Usually it's enough renaming/deleting the file "user/registrymodifications.xcu", it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files "user/basic/dialog.xlc" and "scrip.xlc" are overwritten, additionally custom colors in "user/config/standard.soc" are lost.

It works with native file format.
I really want to use any of those file formats ots, ods, xls. My files should be converted at any time.
Then I can do treatment for those files, with OpenOffice, LibreOffice And MicrosoftOffice whatever. I'm free to choose my application, and i am not afraid about it. I will do it without a problem!
There is no other way than to wait for some developer putting their attention on this issue.
