Description: Since version 5.3.1.2. Unisintaled it and installed 5.3.2.2 with the hope of resolving this, with no results. After boot, applications are correctly launched, or files are correctly opened by double-cliking on them, or by using "in menu shortcuts" that appears above libreoffice icons in quick launch bar. But, after a while, and - i'm pretty sure of that - after the computer has slept by itself, when i try to re-open files, 3 processes are appearing in task list, but the files are not opened, also there is not the usual green Libre Office sphash screen. I tried to kills the processes (soffice.bin, soffice.exe & the app - scalc.exe, ... - ) but nothing but a clear reboot works. soffice.bin is going to run continualy, using 12% of the CPU (on my computer) Any more attempt (cumulated with no manual kill) add a new occurence of these 3 processes (so, i get multiples soffice.bin that are consumming the CPU) I have aso tried to let the processes running about 1 hour with no more results. Environnement: Windows 10 x64 Computer : Asus G73 Sw (Core i7-2630QM, RAM:8GB) Problems occurs already before "Creator's update" (updated last week), with LO 5.3.1.2. Feel free to ask for any manipulation that would bring more informations. I unisntalled 5.3.1.2 and installed 5.3.2.2 before the Win10 "Creator's update" on last past week. Steps to Reproduce: 1.open/[.../save/...]/close a file 2.let the computer goining to sleep 3. awake the computer (of course) and log in 3.try to re-open a file Actual Results: In tasklist : soffice.bin, soffice.exe, app.exe (ex: scalc.exe, swriter.exe, ...) with soffice.bin consumming CPU 12% continualy Expected Results: LO launched and files opened :) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0
This bug can be closed. I have deleted my profile, then all seems to working properly. Something had to gone wrong somewhere and then corrupted one or more files of the profile. (but it is curious that it raised only after the computer has slept). Any way. Sorry for the inconvenience.
