Description Heiko Tietze 2017-04-25 14:33:18 UTC
Both buttons appear disabled even when multiple cells or previously merged cells are selected. The functionality is available via context menu.

Strange, cannot reproduce myself. Both buttons are now always enabled, in contrast to the main menu, but fully functional. After closing the document and starting new from the start center everything works like a charm. So I guess the initial state is not clearly defined.

* open Calc
* Merge and Split are enabled independent from the selection (guess the buttons could also be disabled)
* close per ctrl+F4
* start "Calc Spreadsheet"
* state of Merge and Split depend on the selection

Not enabled for me. Maybe its on the KDE build, but not gtk2. What build are you running?

Tested yesterday with master under Windows. Same now with Linux/Qt. It happens when Calc is started per libreoffice/instdir/program/scalc but not via start center libreoffice/instdir/program/soffice > Calc Spreadsheet.
