Description Howard 2017-04-29 15:48:43 UTC
Description:
Applying any style, Writer will add italics to the font despite the style properties. (even horizontal line will become designated as italic).

New this release. Styles works as expected in all previous releases. Importing styles from old documents does not fix or change behavior of program.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.apply a style to text.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
had to go back. select ALL the text with 'new' style. manually apply italics (to remove the italic designation).

Expected Results:
Expected styles should have been applied to designated text.
no italic text in areas that were not supposed to be italic.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No. nor did manually redefining styles, nor did importing new/different styles change behavior.

Please attach a document with dummy text, where you have applied a style without italic and the text renders in italic.

Is the document based on a template?

Which font do you try to use? Is it installed on your PC?

Do you have made any font settings in Tools > Options?

I've got a private mail, that the bug reporter can no longer reproduce the problem. The reporter suggests to close the issue.
