Probably same problem as in bug 107525 not reproducible for me with a build made this morning.

Please could you try a more recent build ?

Best regards. JBF

Have downloaded the test-version 2017-04-27_23:51:14 this morning (2017-04-30). Don't know where you get a newer version, but at this moment I couldn't download a newer built here:
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@70-TDF/current/
Comment 4 Buovjaga 2017-04-30 16:25:32 UTC
I built it myself. Yep, the dailies seem stuck! Have to probably wait until holidays are over.

bt with debug symbols

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated some days ago (58daac975bb871f4479948a9f64577c420d66624), I don't reproduce this with gtk3 but could reproduce this with kde4 rendering.
Comment 6 Julien Nabet 2017-04-30 21:57:08 UTC
I'm going to update my local repo and build then give a new try.
It seems a dup of tdf#107525

bt with debug symbols (gen rendering)

With master sources updated yesterday (862b6c0a32dfce924bfafa84acaed47c5380fc46) I could reproduce this too with kde4 rendering.
I also reproduced this with gen rendering, I attached a bt with it here.

Let's put max priority since:
- it's a crash
- it's a regression
- it's a very basic use case

Have the same error now with
Version: 5.4.0.0.alpha1
Build ID: 0b9f9bef65bb21ebb6a64aafad448f7f62dc824a
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.1; UI render: default; VCL: kde4;
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group

Couldn't open any database-file with this version.

So I will reopen this bug.

Your build is older than the fix. Please update to LibreOffice Beta 1 -> http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/

Indeed, there is also a beta1 available. I have downloaded the alpha1 3 days ago and didn't recognize there are more versions inside the folder. It's a little bit funny to find two different pre-releases for the same version in one folder.
