Description Drew Parsons 2017-05-03 10:06:14 UTC
View settings include an option to zoom to the entire page. This is helpful for reading a document on larger screens.

You would expect when entire-page view setting is used, that scrolling (whether by PageDown/PageUp or +/- in the Navigator) would scroll by entire pages. This would preserve the sense of the "Entire Page" view.

But it is not the case. Only a partial page is scrolled and the Entire Page view setting is lost.

This behaviour is the same whether viewing in single page, double page or book mode.

Scrolling should scroll by whole pages when Entire Page view is used.

The behaviour is found in Debian 1:5.2.6-2, but I guess it occurs in LibreOffice on other platforms too.

This is currently possible only by using the Navigator.
Bug 101211 is about making it possible to have (user assigned) keyboard shortcuts perform the same.

The comments on bug 101211 indicate that we should not try to hijack the mouse scrolling amount from the operating system. Thus I will close this as WONTFIX.
