Description q21 2017-05-05 18:08:07 UTC
Description:
VIEWING: Mouse scroll doesn't work in Web mode; and in Normal mode it only scrolls whole pages, though it should scroll one screen.
This bug existed since my 1st installment of LibreOffice; scroll amount was too big even in normakl mode. The last version (5.2.6.2) scrolls pages correctly, but not one screen as it should.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open doc
2. Turn mouse wheel
3.

Actual Results:
No scrolling or incorrect amount of scrolling

Expected Results:
It should scroll one screen vertically

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: It been like this since fresh install. The last version correctly scrolls one A4 page in Normal mode, but not screen height (as it should).

Additional Info:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64, desktop PC

Hello,

I don't reproduce with, for example,
LO 5.1.6.2 Build ID: 07ac168c60a517dba0f0d7bc7540f5afa45f0909
Threads CPU : 2; Version de l'OS :Windows 6.1; UI Render : par défaut;

Mouse scroll works for me in Writer Web mode. Each notch is set for 4 lines (control panel, Mouse, wheel).
How is it set for you?

Hello Jacques,
when I set the scroll for "3 lines", it works.
But my usual setting is "One screen at a time",
and then it doesn't scroll.

Hi q21,
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?

The bug is still there.

With "Normal" view, the mouse wheel scrolls 1 paper page (instead of 1 screen).

With "Web" view, it scrolls some strange amount ("page size"?), only the page size is being detected incorrectly, e.g. the status line show 7 pages in a document that has 128035 words / 816503 characters.
