Created attachment 133419 [details] to reproduce problem Everything (Scrolling, Data entry, Line Deletion/Insertion) works well before line 1000 or so (cannot define exact line where the problem shows up) After that, each and every action is delayed by up to 10 seconds. In the attached Bad_Spread_Sheet.odf problem is reproducible. Tried LO 5.3.x, dir not change anything.

In the meantime, it takes two minutes until I can see what I have entered blindly in five cells. Working that way is horrible!
Working with LO and this spreadsheet is impossible. I had to install an additional Office Suite. Nobody interested in solving this problem?
I did a look to your problem. You did have messed up your conditional format, more then 1000 entree's. I deleted them all and made only one conditional format, now its working fine.
