Rectification :
EDITING Copying a text from a Web site page then selecting with the mouse a text zone within a Writer document in order to paste makes LibreOffice frozen (about once every 2 paste try), with high CPU usage.
LibreOffice freezes just after the mouse button release at the end of the selecting area process

Please see Bug 105769 that is somehow resolved from LO 5.4. So, you need to also test with 5.4 beta.
You may get http://tdf.io/siguiexe to easily get and run "parallel" LO in Windows (extract without installation) in order to test newer LO versions.
