If the intent of 'Text Body' is that it should be used by default for paragraphs, then we shouldnt show 'Default Style' in the paragraph drop down menu control and we should change the default template to have it set to 'Text Body'. Alternatively, we should remove 'Text Body' from the drop down menu as it is identical to 'Default Text' except for 0.1" below paragraph spacing and to users this would be redundant.
Interesting ideas. Related to consider: Next style in Headings is Text Body. Changing the default template looks OK to me. Removing Default from the drop-down might panic people, whom don't know what to do.. or?

Not duplicate, as this one is about the drop down and not the template. :D

In that scenario i guess 'Text Body' has to stay, as it will appear in the list quite early in the creation of a document. > Changing the default template looks OK to me. > Removing Default from the drop-down might panic people, whom don't know what > to do.. or? With so many documents already created with 'Default' (aka Standard) and when importing Word documents that default to use 'Normal' and that being mapped to 'Default', its highly unlikely it wont always appear in the list as well. https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/tree/writerfilter/source/dmapper/StyleSheetTable.cxx#n1312
