Description: LibO crashes quite randomly while pasting very large images from Draw to Writer. I could accept the crashing as such, but not so randomly. It works until it stops working for some reason. It's also possible one of both image disappear (not sure if it's related) after pasting Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open this link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7DezVIXHrQObTV4dDZtajFiZTg (136mb) 2. Select both images and copy them to the clipboard (CTRL+C) 3. Open a new Writer document and paste -> Will crash (or won't depending) 4. If no crash -> Close the Writer document 5. Repeat step 3 6. If it's still not crashing -> add two pages to the draw document 7. Paste the image to both of them 8. Sounds like it is an out of memory crash. I could not reproduce even though I did all the suggested actions. I have 32GB mem, which might protect me. Hi Telesto, Did you monitor the ram used by LO ? I do not reproduce the crash with LO 5.4.2.0.0+ under Ubuntu 16-04 x86-64. I have 8 GB of RAM and LO uses 1,1 GB with the odg and the new Writer document with pictures. Best regards. JBF
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
