Selecting 2 elements, right click, Arrange > Reverse should interchange positions between the 2 (right?) instead it does nothing. Tried with: 1) 2 new textboxes 2) 2 textboxes created with slide layout 3) 2 inserted symbols (happy faces) 4) 3 inserted symbols
Hello C, It seems to me that this command only change stacking order of drawing elements, if they were previously superposed.

Please could you describe use cases? Does similar function exist in another office suite (powerpoint, calligra, google docs)?
I didn't find a such feature elsewhere, See attachment to get a swapping effect with the current tools. Isn't it enough? Did you expect something else?
Created attachment 134661 [details] Swapping effect
Created attachment 134666 [details] example to show the convenience of a swap command I found it in Inkscape. In Align and Distribute sidebar (Shift+Ctrl+A) I think all of these commands would be useful/appropriate for Impress slide elements. In particular i was referring to "Exchange positions of selected objects - selection order"
Thank you for the sample. I set status to NEW.
