This problem is mentioned several times regarding earlier versions of Libreoffice and always reported as solved. The way to reproduce is to: 1. open sample file (it is not attached as it contains sensitive information, but I can send it by email privately); 2. to do some edits and push save. Error message - "Write Error. Error in writing sub-document styles.xml" will appear. Coping of the content to a new file is not solving problem. The problem is not affecting 5.2.7 and 5.4.0.3, but affect 5.3.5.2, which is proposed as ready for enterprises.

Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested document is provided. (Please note that the attachment will be public, remove any sensitive information before attaching it. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FAQ#How_can_I_eliminate_confidential_data_from_a_sample_document.3F for help on how to do so.)
Created attachment 135202 [details] Sample file resulting in write error Due to the fact that the file can't be saved in 5.3.5.2, it is edited in 5.4.0.3 to remove sensitive information. The way to repeat is to open document in 5.3.5.2, to do any edits and to try to save it.

For me the issue appears under Ubuntu Linux 16.04 64 bit
Just realized that the problem seems to be with my profile. With fresh profile no problems appears and file can be saved. It is the same profile I used with 5.2.7.2 without problems. I'll try to add extensions to see if they are making problems.
The report can be closed as resolved. It was problem in my profile. After renewing profile and reinstalling all plugins I was able to save document without any probems.
Good to hear. Thanks for reporting this anyway.
