Description David Lynch 2017-08-09 13:56:54 UTC
In
Version: 5.4.0.3 (x64)
Build ID: 7556cbc6811c9d992f4064ab9287069087d7f62c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.19; UI render: default;

under Windows 10

CNTL+D does nothing even when set to the default action in Calc Fill Down.
Sheet->Fill Cells->Down works
Assigning CNTL+F to Fill Down in Tools->Preferences... works.

Other keyboard shortcuts appear to work.

Deleting the default CNTL+D action, then restoring it also fails.

CNTL+D worked in previous versions.

I have tried this with two different keyboards.

Now works for me.

It has suddenly started working again for me. I don't know why.

There are reports going back to 2005 of an identical bug with Excel. I have found no convincing explanation in these bug reports. The consensus seems to be that some other application is grabbing CNTL-D. But the error seemed to persist in safe mode.

Let's put this one to WFM then.
