Description Tamás Zolnai 2017-08-12 18:45:47 UTC
Description:
If set a pattern are fill as a slide background with custom colors then this background fill is lost after saved into ODP and reopened.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Impress
2. Open slide properties dialog and area page
3. Set a pattern with custom colors
4. Save the document to ODP and reopen it

Actual Results:
After a round trip I see a blue background for the slide. If I open the area dialog the bitmap page is opened which means that the dialog interpret the background as a bitmap fill.

Expected Results:
The right pattern fill with the custom color should be preserved.

Reproducible: Always

I want to confirm that bug. I have this issue on all my computers running different versions of LibreOffice (5.4/6.1) and Operating Systems (Win7, Win10, Linux Mint).

The same issue happens with background color gradients when you chose custom colors.
Comment 6 martin651 2019-03-02 07:53:11 UTC
Guys, this is really a very annoying bug. You can forget about customized backgrounds (gradients, patterns) if they are just not saved correctly. This was reported more than a year ago and since then even not assigned to anybody…

The bug is there since introduction of the customized backgrounds (also in 6.2.0.3).

With custom pattern (as in the original bug description) the bug is still there. With custom color gradients it seems to be resolved.

This bug is now more than 5 years old :-)
