Hi, I have this problem from many years with LO. I need connect to Oracle Database 11g Release 2 with ojdbc6.jar. I retrieve my data directly in calc. This working and i can run my database request.. BUT the delay for the connection time / and after entered the password and retrieve the data is very long (~10-30 seconds) - (no delay with mysql request for example) If i use another tool like sqlplus, i do not have this delay and is very fast. My data appears directly. Problem in: - 4.x.x - 5.0.x - 5.1.x - 5.2.x - 5.3.x - 5.4.x Someone have a explanation for that? Thanks in advance.
@MichaelB: Please indicate : - which OS(es) you are using; - if you are using a Linux OS, which distribution and version number; - if you are using a Linux OS, whether or not you are using the Linux distribution provided version of LibreOffice or the one provided by TDF from its download page; - which version of the JRE, and/or JDK; - which options, if any, you have entered on the JDBC driver configuration line, and which options are ticked in the ODB file under the Advanced Properties tab. Setting to NEEDINFO.
