Description Kurt 2017-08-26 02:24:29 UTC
The align command (Modify->Align->Align ____) used to function by taking the selected group of objects and aligning the the group to the first object selected. This way a complex series of alignments could be created by bringing in one object at a time and aligning it to other parts of the group. Now aligning always moves every object selected, ruining the spacing on all of them. This makes the whole feature exactly useless since it ruins any relative spacing you have created with the objects you are trying to align to.

Please revert this.

In which version do the shapes align as you described? Ever since I use LibreOffice or OpenOffice.org they align with respect to the bounding box.

Please give a very exact step by step description for that version.
