A few questions:

What do you mean with "update verified" and "launched again".
Do you know that there are two starts involved? The first for downloading the update and during the next the update is applied.
Can you check if you have a patch directory in the user profile? In the daily builds that directory should be in the same level as the program directory.

Did you by chance modify any files of the installation like bootstraprc to change the location of your user profile?

Screenshot with the position where spend a lot of time.

Hi @Markus thanks for take care.

I have just tested again at work, doing a new installation, whit first run again takes a lot of time on the position of the attached screenshot. After the update not always happens. So can be my bad connections.

After restart the computer takes a lot with the LO window blank only showing the window title, second time nearly to instant. Deleting the user profile again a lot of time with a blank window, so something happens for me but I can't always reproduce it.

TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2017-08-31_07:23:27, takes a while first run after a clear installation even though less, and start after delete the profile it's quicker.

Yes, I had read about the two starts TDF's planet post.

Profile directory:
C:\Users\MARV\Downloads\LibreOfficeDev_6.0.0.0.alpha0_Win_x86_archive\LibreOfficeDev 6\LibreOfficeDev\4\user

I did not modify it and I didn't change the user profile.

I'm seeing that I need to keep on eye for a few days to bring if possible a more concrete information and test about the second update.

BTW would be nice having compilation date+time in Menu/Help/About like the other master builds to see easily if the update is the same than last on TB@38. I know one can see the last commits through the log.
