Description gungl 2017-09-01 17:22:30 UTC
Description:
If I restore a writer-file, e.g. after I shut down the computer without saving, the password I set for the file is often lost. So anyone reopening LO can open the file by restoring it.
Thats a huge bug.....

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a writer-file. Save it with password.
2. Shutdown computer without saving again or closing LO.
3. Restore the file.

Actual Results:
Password protection disappears.

Expected Results:
Restore file with password (happens sometimes).

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Not reproducible for me with LO 5.3.6.1. I could only restore the file after entering the password.

The main bug is shutting down the computer without saving.
What file format are you using for your documents ?

Best regards. JBF

Does it also happen after killing LibreOffice in task manager, or only after an unexpected shutdown?
