Comment 1 Julien Nabet 2017-09-12 20:02:22 UTC
5.1 and 5.2 are EOL.
Please give a try with a recent LO version (5.3.6 or even 5.4.1).
Also, please use English so more people may help here.

New version LO5.4.1.2 gives the same problem!! I returned to LO5.1 to loose it.
On your request I installed LO5.4.1.2 again, but the BASE Abend is still remaining.

Thank you for your feedback, since I don't have more questions for the moment, let's put the status back to UNCONFIRMED.

I also revert the version since it must correspond to the "earliest affected" version.
Comment 5 Alex Thurgood 2017-09-13 08:09:40 UTC
@Dick : 32bit or 64bit version of LibreOffice ?
Comment 6 Alex Thurgood 2017-09-13 08:14:17 UTC
@Dick :

Are you using the Ubuntu provided package that comes with the distro, a PPA, or a snap, or the TDF download ?

Which JRE/JDK are you using ?

Have you tried resetting your LO profile ?

Is the database an embedded HSQLDB ?
Comment 7 Alex Thurgood 2017-09-13 08:25:54 UTC
@Dick : which kernel are you using ?
Comment 8 Alex Thurgood 2017-09-13 08:32:08 UTC
Ah, just seen that you indicated in the dropdown box when you filed the report that you are using 32Bit Linux.

Setting as DUP of bug 108619.

Solution : change your kernel version to one that doesn't cause a crash.
