Description: When I hover over the menu entries just below the title bar, all colors are represented as specified in Mate 18.2 theme. E.g. when the background color is green and the foreground color is yellow, hovering (after first clicking and then moving the mouse around) shows the correct colors, but in the popped menu itself (as well as in context menus) the foreground color is always white (when hovering, according to GTK2/3: "selected"). This is a bit problematic, when the select background color is e.g. yellow. White text is hard to read then. Steps to Reproduce: 1. right mouse key for context menu 2. hover over menu items Alternatively 1. click on main menu item, hover over other menu items (OK) 2. hover over a popped-up menu under the menu item. Actual Results: selected text always appears white (seems not to use themed color value). Expected Results: selected/hovered text shows themed select foreground color. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: de Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes Note: None of the standard themes delivered with the Mate display manager are "equipped" with non-white select foreground colours. Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
To finalize a sentence: "I encountered this problem as I modified ..." ... the theme with yellow selected background and brown selected foreground. BTW: with KDE, none of the selected/hover colors of KDE theme colors are used at all. Note: I'll do what Fauli asked me to do - I have to install from Download instead of the current package manager version. My KDE-machine also operates with 5.1.6.2.
