Description:
In any LibreOffice Writer document, if I select any text, then right-click the selected text and choose "Character...", the program hangs and must be forced closed.

Here is my program version:

Version: 5.2.7.2
Build ID: 2b7f1e640c46ceb28adf43ee075a6e8b8439ed10
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Windows 6.2; UI Render: default; 
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group

This is running on an Intel I5 system with Windows 10 Home Edition.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select any text in a LibreOffice Writer document
2. Right-click on the selected text
3. Choose "Character..." from the drop-down list after right-clicking
4. Program becomes unresponsive and must be forced closed.


Actual Results:

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Not sure what the "Character..." function does - was trying to find out.

5.2 branch is EOL.
Could you give a try to a recent LO version? Last stable one is 5.3.6

There's no specific fix about this. So if it works now for you, let's put WFM.
