If you make a selection of text & go to "Tools - Language - For Selection - None" the squiggly red lines of the spell-checker go away but the squiggly blue lines of the grammar-checker remain. After you've closed & reopened the document they go away but it would be good if they went away immediately.

They go away immediately on my system.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
