Description John Esslemont 2017-10-27 08:37:55 UTC
Description:
Having used LibreOffice 5.4.1 without problems under Windows XP for some months I upgraded to 5.4.2. If I attempt to run Libre Office, or open any file that uses it, the LibreOffice banner appears briefly with a message "Synchronising repository for shared extensions" then disappears and nothing else happens. If I use Windows add/remove facility to get to the LibreOffice installation Wizard neither "repair" or "remove" seems to have any effect. I would happily return to 5.4.1, and still have the installation download, but that tells me I can't install the earlier version without removing the later version (which I can't do). If I attempt to close the Windows add/remove program I get a message "rundll32.exe not responding".
